
Kim Greenspan Melman
Educational Consultant and Passionate Educator
Kim Greenspan Melman is the owner and founder of Expert Learning & Curriculum. Kim has taught in schools across the Boston area and Brooklyn, NY and in Bergen County, New Jersey. Kim has never stopped learning and holds two degrees in education-- a Masters of Arts in Teaching(K-6) and a Masters of Science in TESOL instruction (K-12), as well as a Principal Certification (School Leadership) from Montclair State University. She has taught at both the elementary and middle school levels, and in special education classrooms as well as with SIFE students and all levels of MLs (formerly ELLs).
Kim is currently an Adjunct Faculty member at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, where she teaches various education courses and supervises field experience with students in the BA/MAT Program. Recently she became a Clinical Supervisor for William Paterson University where she supports candidates in the ESL alternate-route program. She also serves as the Vice President of the Leonia Board of Education. A former elementary and ESL teacher, she uses her knowledge of close to ten years in the public school classroom to ground and focus her work. Kim is dedicated to helping teachers succeed and watching how educators can grow and master their craft. Kim regularly presents at math and literacy conferences in New Jersey and New York.
